It was such a pleasure to work on this project! I was commissioned to do a Chicago flag on a vintage window frame that was provided to me. This frame was just perfect for the Chicago flag layout. It was a bit of a challenge working on a large piece in my small space, but I enjoyed working bigger than I have been lately.
This was delivered to it's home in Logan Square today and the new owner is very happy, which makes me happy!
I'm writing to you from my couch as I fight off a sore throat and fatigue, which per usual I will blame on the changing Chicago weather. I had a lot of fun painting this lady! I struggled with the colors for awhile but am glad it finished this way.
Hi all! I decided to consolidate and have my blog on my website instead of keeping it separate on Blogspot.
So the latest news and I relaunched my Etsy shop! I'm so happy to have an online presence again. Right now my focus is on small to medium size paintings and my drawings on vintage book paper.
