I don't really talk about this, but I am available for commissions and wanted to get the word out there! Above is a commissioned painting I did on canvas which lives in a fun bar area of a Lincoln Park home. Shoot me an email if you have any questions or are interested! heartless (dot) arts (at) gmail (dot) com
Did I not post pictures from my opening at the Logan Bar & Grill? Whoops. I was just finally importing some photos from my phone and saw a bunch. I also forgot to take pictures of the work in the back room...I'm horrible at this sometimes. Everything is up through the first couple days in July!
Well, I was trying to create a painting of a giant stitch, and experimented with spraypaint and it didn't turn out as I wanted it to. I was hoping by placing the strings on the painted stitch line, it would create the effect of individual threads with in the one piece of embroidery thread. Some frisket, liquid friskit, thread, and spray paint later... it turned out too blurry and messy looking. Back to the drawing board to re-work this canvas!
Before peeling the friskit off, I didn't have the heart to post the final outcome
Just listed on etsy! This is a print I did a few years ago back at UCF. This is more abstract than my current style but I still love it.
Here is painting I recently added some hand stitching to. It's the horizontal lines with stitched drips marks coming down. I'm thinking this piece is finally done!
